  1. My favorite book of all time is 'Pretty Little Liars' by Sara Shepard. It is a real mystery and a page-turner. I read the entire book in a few days. I borrowed it from a friend, because she said it was a great book. We later found out it was a series. Overall, it was a very suspenseful book, and I could read it any day.

  11. "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" is my favorite book because it has a fairly dull premise. However, the book is interesting because we see it all through the eyes of an autistic child. We see his 'emotions,' thoughts, and distorted reactions. It is a very uplifting book, and it tells us that anyone can do anything, and nothing can stand in their way.

  12. My favorite book of all time is "Witch Catcher" by Mary Downing Hahn. It is very suspicious, and fear- filled in every page. It is about a daughter and her dad, who inherited a castle. And in that castle is a mysterious forest and beneath the forest there is set of stairs. There it goes finding unbeleivable truths that you would never suspect. I like this book because it shows how family sticks together and got each other's back. Sometimes being too curious causes problems that you would never want to get into. I just couldn't stop turning the pages!

The plot line of the book is amazing, with twists and turns and details that keep you wanting more. The characters are relatable but with some traits and backgrounds that are slightly unimaginable. It was not the easiest book to read, which is why I liked it more. It was a challange to stay with the riddles and new characters, and I enjoyed the challange. It made me think of a new concept in life and with religion and artwork. It was probably one of the best written books I have ever read.

  45. My favorite book is "Shop Class as Soulcraft" by Matthew Crawford. This book is about a guy who majored in Law and had a great future for him, but decided to work in the Automotive industry. He proves his point how that Highschools should focus more on the interesting electives, instead of the required classes. At first I didn't find this book very appealing, but after reading it for a while I found out that most of the stuff he is saying is true. I recommend this book because it is interesting and makes a lot of sense for highschool kids.

Even though I do not have a favorite book of all times, one of the books that i would highly recommend to my peers is The house of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer. This book is about a young boy named Matt who lives in a cabin his whole life. After finding out he is a clone, his whole life changes as he realizes he is viewed to others as an "it". This book portrays many different scientific ideas as well as moral problems that are present in our society today. Even if you do not like to read a lot, this book is a must. It is written in a captive language that will not let you put it down, I promise. [:
